Make sure you protect your teeth
and gums by wearing a gum-shield . It should be
moulded to fit your mouth.
A dentist will fit one for you. To
start off with, as your teeth are still growing, a
cheaper option is to buy a "boil in the bag" gum-shield
which is moulded using hot water.
Place the warm gum-shield in your
mouth and suck on it for 3 minutes until it has moulded
to the shape of your upper teeth.
